What Is World Cyber Security Summit?
World Cyber Security Summit is a thought-leadership-driven, business-focused initiative that provides a platform for CISOs who are looking to explore new-age threats and the technologies/strategies to mitigate them.
The show is hosting CISOs across industry sectors from Jordan who will meet, network, learn and engage with some of the world’s renowned technology thought-leaders, subject matter experts, and technology innovators in a constructive, open-dialogue environment to find solutions for issues hindering their information/cyber security.
Why Jordan?
Jordan is ranked 73 globally in the Global Security Index and has set up a National Center for Cybersecurity under the oversight of the Prime Minister’s Office to strengthen their cyber policies.
The Center is envisioned as a focal point for cybersecurity policymaking, endowed with an expansive mandate to craft, execute, and enforce digital regulations. One of the framework’s key goals is to ensure the management and handling of cyber incident capabilities
Focusing majorly on its cyber security strategy as proposed also in the Financial Sector Cybersecurity Strategy of Jordan (2021 – 2023), this framework is laid out to put in place the right measures to mitigate and manage cyber risks in a structured and effective manner.
